Privacy information for the Hyttebasen test
This document describes the restricted test at app.hyttebasen.no. The test uses Furutangen data to test and operate the service for invited users.
Business operating the test
The test service is operated by Skogheim Technologies, Norwegian organisation number 937 840 977. Hyttebasen is the platform name. Furutangen is the area and source of the imported extract.
Information we process
The service processes information about users and contact details, cabins and ownership, addresses and locations, stays, access, and relevant Furutangen history. The information is used to conduct the test, provide the correct access, and support continued ordinary operation if the test becomes an ongoing service.
News, opening hours, and other content published on the public website are available without sign-in. Private account, cabin, and history information is kept separate and requires sign-in and appropriate access.
Sign-in and access
Invited users can sign in with a one-time code by email, Google, or Apple. Access to cabins and administration follows the permissions recorded for the account.
Hosting and providers
The application is hosted with Amazon Web Services. The app runs on AWS EC2 in us-east-1, and sign-in email is sent through Amazon SES in eu-north-1. Google and Apple process sign-in information when you choose their sign-in services.
The service uses necessary sign-in sessions. Web and mobile clients may retain a prepared or sent attempt locally so its outcome can be checked after a network interruption. An attempt may contain text and other information entered by the user. It may remain on the device after sign-out until it is resolved or removed.
Restricted test
Payments, subscriptions, and ordinary customer delivery are unavailable during the test. Physical gates are real and may only be operated by prior arrangement with the person responsible for the test.
Retention when service continues
If the restricted test transitions into ordinary operation, the Furutangen test copy will be retained as the basis for the continuing service. There is no single fixed calendar deadline for every category of information. The need to retain, correct, or delete information is assessed according to the information and function concerned.
Access, correction, and deletion
The app includes features to export account-linked information and request account deletion. These features do not necessarily cover every imported record, log, history entry, or provider copy. Contact emil@hyttebasen.no with privacy questions or requests for access, correction, or deletion.
Changes
This information applies only to the restricted test. Its date and content must be updated if the test scope, providers, import, or active functions change.
